I've never been great with styling my hair. I have naturally curly hair which I have always tried to get as straight as possible, and always ended up with so much frizz that I end up just tying my hair up. Until now. The Phillips 5000 straightener is quick and easy to use and leaves my hair frizz-free, and silky smooth. It takes all of 20 minutes to straighten every single lock of hair and my hair does not feel dry or damages afterwards. In terms of safety, I would 100% recommend. The straightener has a lock function, so no more accidental burn wounds from a straightener lying around while still switched on. The outside isn't very hot, you can literally close it, wrap your hand around it and not burn. Great for people who are prone to burning their neck and ears while straightening. It has multiple heat settings, for a custom style depending on hair density and coarseness. Thank you Phillips, for all this hot girl energy!

This straightener does not only come in a beautiful blue colour but also protects your hair while styling, you can select the heat you want to use on your hair ensuring you use just the right amount of heat while styling. I love that you can lock the straightener while packing it away or travelling so that the plates don't damage. Overall extremely impressed with the product.

This straightener definitely has to be the best straightener I have ever used on my hair. It is lightweight and the heat option also makes it a family favorite as I can use it on my small daugther's hair. I have thick and wavy hair and this straightener allows me to have straight and sleek hair in less than 30 minutes.

This has to be one of the best straighteners on the market and the best one I've ever used. Having thick and wavy hair, I can have straight hair in less than 30 minutes. The option to choose the amount of heat you want to expose your hair too, works excellent on my little girls hair as well. Easy to use and lightweight

This product was so easy to use. Even at low heat, it glides through hair with ease. It was ready to use in less than 30 seconds. It comes with a heat-resistant roll-out mat which is handy for when you need to put it down for a few seconds. It made my hair shiny and fizz-free. I still need to try styling with curls. The Argon-oil-infused ceramic plates are long enough for smooth gliding through even thick hair. My hair even stays straight for the next day or two. really worth it!

This product is amazing. Truly as a working class woman this helped tame my uncontrollable hair and allowed me to feel confident in myself again. There is a safety feature which allows the product to turn off after a few minutes of not using it, which is great especially if you forget to turn it off or have kids near by. It also has a heat controller to set the temperature to your hair needs. I would highly recommend this product. Great as a gift to someone or just to treat yourself. This allows us to gain back the confidence we loose sometimes.

I have used so many hair straighteners over the years , most of them just made my hair dry and caused damage.....But the Phillips 5000 is just on another level. My hair went from a mop to a dream in 5 minutes. With the argan infused plates, it leaves your hair silky soft and shiny. The plates just glide across your hair. It has different heat settings to suit your hair. I would recommend this to anyone that has the most difficult hair to tame.....this is a dream and so reasonably priced. This straightener works fantastically. I naturally have very thick, wavy hair that usually takes ages to style. This hair straightener not only cut down how long it took, but I used a lower heat setting than that of my previous hair straightener and it came out so shiny and glossy!

My hair hasn't looked this great in a long time. It is super soft and I look fabulous. I have very thin hair and my hair is also very static. Since I have been using this product. My hair is not static anymore and it looks and feels nice and thick.
