Philips AventMicrowave sterilizer bags

[Employee of philipsglobal] These steam sterilizer bags are the handiest things in existence for bottle-feeding. I just keep a couple of them in my nappy bag for when I'm out and about, rather than carting around the whole kit and caboodle. Brilliant for when you're visiting relatives with your little ones. I took these with me when I was on a short trip with my family and all I needed to do was give the bottles a short spin in the microwave and I was good to go. The pouches can be used a load of times, meaning that they are good value for money. Brilliant!

This product is great especially when im visiting family, i can just use the microwave bags to steralise bottles and dont have to take steriliser if i dont want to.

Brilliant bit simple way to keep those bottles stored in the most hygienic way. Love it especially when travelling.

I can't belive no one has thought about this idea before, I mean once your back from the hospital it's useless as you have your big steriliser but wow when it came to staying at my parents and I didn't want to lug round that big unit, these fit straight in my bag and I was sterilising anywhere I could use a microwave with nothing more than a bag!!! If you're due to visit someone soon or even not maybe even for back up these are amazing and although I can't test if they're sterile they definitely feel and smell like new

Making sure you give you baby sterile equipment is the utmost importance at their age. This is great as I use my Philips microwave steamer to do my bottles and other bits and then when i'm on the go with the little one I stick them in the bag to keep them sterile for ages. Easy to use and perfect every time. A must buy for any parent.

These are great for when traveling or when you need a bottle quickly sterilising, we took them with us when we went onto a long trip, we dropped the bottle and whilst at a service station we were, able to sterilise the bottle and feed the baby

I was a little dubious of these bags at first, as I thought at first glance they would be fiddly to use. But have found that they are a great item to keep in the change bag for on the go. Much like the microwave steriliser, these bags are used for steam sterilising and therefore do not require tablets. All you need to do is add 60ml of water to the bag alongside your bottles/dummies/teethers etc. and pop it into the microwave for between 90secs and 5 minutes (depending on your microwave wattage). After leaving the bag to cool for 2 minutes, you take it out using the cool "safe corners" and drain the water via the vent. Each bag can sterilise upto three bottles, or a manual breast pump with each use, and can be used upto 20 times. Meaning each pack of 5 bags offers upto 100 uses. There's even a handy little number indicator on the back of the pack that you can use to tick off each time the bag is used, so you don't forget! These bags can be folded up quite small, so take up hardly any room in your change bag. A perfect solution for travelling or even days out, to save you have to carry a bulky steriliser, or alternatively taking multiple bottles with you just to last the trip. Although not what they were designed for, you could also use the bag as a container in order to do cold water sterilising if you prefer. At least it would mean that the water and sterilising fluid is contained safely within the bag, rather than in containers sitting on your worktop.

These bags are a absolute necessity when traveling. If your popping somewhere or are in a rush you can't always take the sterilizer with you and these are perfect for that job. Would definitely buy these!! They do their job as a expected which is perfect
